Fishing Derby

Were on 85239.com. If Elio had his way we would have been there at 5 am. He was so excited to fish . Now that we had the grand opening of "Pacana Park" they can fish all they want . We had such a good time , The kids had fun casting , we tried cheesy hotdogs , jelly sandwiches , fluff sandwiches , whatever we could find . Did we catch anything , NO .... But that was ok. Amanda and Emilee played more than fished , Jaren fished with me and oops! I wonked him on the noggin with the pole but he was ok a little p.o'd but ok . I caught a chair behind us . And Caitlin was a very good baby girl the whole time. Oh and by the way Chris had a CARDINALS GAME to go to .

Slip Sliding Away...

Home work was done . Dinner was finished . The kids were playing and they looked like they needed some fun. Whoo hoo!! The sun was setting and it was a beautiful night out. they had a blast .

Just one of THOSE days...

I am having one of those ,,, Woke up with a tooth ache , And no good stuff left over just tylenol or excederin . I must be doing some major teeth grinding . I'm trying to incorporate south beach into my lifestyle and for breakfast which means protein . I dropped an egg this morning , cracked in the fridge all down the front of the freezer (French style fridge) on to the tile floor . Enter kids and cats "What happened ?" EWW !! Gross !! Cats sniffing , GRRR everybody out !!! , Sheesh mommys grumpy . Dropped kids off to school , Swung by local school district office to pick up my volunteer badge, and hmm , they don't have it . Everybody else's but mine . I'm internally freaking out cause I had fingerprints taken back ground check and now this overly made up Chick is looking at me and says with a snide look on her face, "Well it's possible they didn't get to yours yet ." With a ya right look on her face . I know I have nothing to worry about but why is mine missing . Went to the grocery school , Picked up a few yummy fall smelling candles while I was there Mac. Apple , pumpkin pie , Banana bread, one rolled out of the bag and a great attempt to catch it *BaM whacked the side of my head , GRRR . And on the way home I hear FTZZZ coming from the back diet Pepsi can burst open contained somewhat but Grrr sticky drippy ugh. I bump the inside garage door with my hip to open it and Jam my widdle piggy toes under the door when it swung back ouch !!! . Bad side of flip flops . Now im sleepy i got a headache , tooth awareness . What else today...

Scrapbook convention

Here's the girls hard at work . At the Phoenix Civic plaza Scrapbook convention. I had alot of fun looking around and picking up some stuff here and there . Really cute lil' davis chipboard , 2 Heidi Swapp 12 x 12 scrapbooks $5.00 each sa-weet . some new alphabet rub ons. It was so crowded today I cannot imagine it on a saturday . Im glad i went . 5 years ago today ... what were you doing

I don't really remember what I was doing the day before. but i will never forget that day . It was sunny and chilly , I let the dogs out , fed them. Heated up a bottle . sat down with the Amanda age 3 was having chocolate milk was playing on the living room floor , Jaren was about 3 months almost 4 months was resting on my lap having his bottle , when I turned the t.v on for the first time that morning . Hmmm.... Whats the W.T.C ? And where is it? Looks like a foreign country. I was watching CNN to get the morning news and couldn't figure out what a W.t.c was , " We believe it was a plane that hit the W.T.C " Well, it looks familiar, come on people say where it is !! "We repeat we believe it was a plane that hit the World Trade Center in New York " Then** BOOM** !!!! another one hit , on live TV I sat there and watched a fricken plane smash into a building , WTF is going on ??? I was crying trying to comprehend what was happening. Elio got up to use the bathroom , I told him what had just happened , then I looked up to him and said , "do you have family that works there ? he said "I'm not sure ." Then the phone started ringing . a multitude of calls that day. " Did you see what happened ? " "What is going on ?" OMG , Do we know anybody flying today ? Now the Pentagon was hit, the fricken pentagon!! What is going on ? " I'm getting the kids from school I want them home . " "Is everybody accounted for ? " Try to call new york , busy signals , cannot connect . A plane crashed into a field somewhere , they don't know if its related . I told family to keep us updated . "Take money out of the bank they may shut down federally and banks wont be open . " "Stay away from malls !" Logan is under a high alert, "What do you mean they came from Boston , How can this be happening?" I'm suppose to vote today , but i don't want to leave home. Well by the end of the day we had all Family and friends accounted for. Kids were sleeping . We voted . I was sitting there in silence watching it played over and over and over . it is engraved in my memory. but, for the life of me I cannot remember what I / we did the day before. I heard some one say , this is the weekend before that day again . And I hope the people who's lives were taken spent those days before doing what they wanted to , told the people they loved , I love you , hugged and kissed their children and took a moment to enjoy it . An afternoon at the pool / playground

I've been playing with the cameras settings , this one is cool you can pick a color and it'll b & w everything but that shade you choose . Kids had a blast swimming after school friday. then over to the splash pad and playground . Can't tell it's 102* out . lol
